Ways to show your support

Patient Action for Cancer Research is comprised of a 501(c)3 line of our work, which focuses on education and public benefit, and a 501(c)(4), which focuses on our advocacy and policy influence work. Your support helps us to connect with patients, survivors, and caregivers, to tell their stories and to elevate their voices as a critical part of policy when it comes to federal cancer research funding.

PACR Action Fund
501(c)(4) donations

Donations to the Action Fund allow us to:

  • Advocate for patients to ensure their voices are heard whenever and wherever decisions are made about life saving cancer science

  • Educate patients and family to effectively champion federally funded cancer research

  • Mobilize a community ready to defend progress

Your contribution makes this vision possible. Please note, that as a 501(c)4 advocacy organization, giving to PACR Action Fund is not tax-deductible. Thank you for standing with us.

PACR Alliance
501(c)(3) donations

Donations to PACR Alliance will help us:

  • Humanize cancer science by telling patient stories that give a voice to patients

  • Educate the public about the impact of federally-funded cancer research

  • Train those affected by federal cancer research funding to better explain its life-saving impact.

Please note that PACR Alliance has filed for expedited review to receive our IRS determination letter. This letter will certify our status as a 501(c)3 public charity. Until we have received our determination letter, donations to PACR Alliance are not considered tax-deductible donations. Once the IRS has processed our application, if we are granted 501(c)3 public charity status, all donations to PACR Alliance will be granted tax-deductible status retroactively to the date of our foundation.
